Building the House - The Construction Stage. This section describes our experience as our builder, Pringle Development, constructs our new home in Florida. We closed on November 20th, slept at the home for the first night on November 24th, and the moving truck moved the heavy goods on November 29th.
Building the House - Weekly Progress. Sunday, November 11, 2007. This week was mostly touch up, clean up, and final inspections. The window screens were installed. The Certificate of Occupancy was requested. I spent time on Saturday and Sunday going through the house on my own, checking various items and building my own punch list. Sunday, November 4, 2007.
After the Closing - Setting Up, Moving, Upgrades. Monday, November 19, 2007. I think I have all the utilities set and the trades scheduled for the post-closing cabinet installs and garage floor coating.
